Nearly 1,000 children at two Pensacola elementary schools have been drinking water that contains unsafe levels of radium, according to test results released Wednesday. The source of the radium appeared to be the massive underground toxic plume from the old Agrico Chemical Co. phosphate fertilizer plant in central Pensacola.
